About the distillery

Old Bushmills Distillery is considered the oldest distillery in Ireland dating back to 1608 when Sir Thomas Philips was granted a license by King James I to distill whiskey however officially it wasn’t founded until 1784. The distillery building was re constructed in 1885 after a fire and is still producing at the distillery to date under the ownership of Jose Cuervo. Bushmills over the years and to date remains one of the most loved Irish Whiskeys.
