Originally named after the newly established distillery, this renowned whiskey blend was first crafted by Master Distiller Barry Crockett of Jameson. Since its inception in 1984, it has been released annually in extremely limited editions. The aging process for this whiskey ranges from 12 to 20 years, with exclusive maturation in Bourbon barrels. Every bottle is distinctively numbered and bears the signature of the Master Distiller.

About the distillery

New Midleton Distillery was constructed in 1975 and was built by the Irish Distillers Group who were formed in 1966 when John Jameson & Son, The Cork Distillery Co. & john Power & Son merged together. The distillery is by the Old Midleton distillery were production was ceased on completing the New Midleton Distillery. The old Midleton Distillery which produced since 1825 has remained closed since. In 1988 the Irish Distillery Group were acquired by giant Pernod-Ricard.
