This limited edition release from the Mackmyra distillery was named Vinterglöd (winter ember). Matured in Ex wine (mulled) & Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.

About the distillery

8 Friends came together during a ski trip and came up with the idea of building Sweden’s first whisky distillery. In 2002 the distillery was constructed and production began releasing their first single malt The Preludium 01 in 2006 which had a huge audience selling completely out within the hour of its release. With the reputation of the brand so high a second distillery was constructed in 2011 to increase Mackmyra’s production output.
