Emerging from a family-operated, independent distillery nestled in the core of Ayrshire, we present the Lochlea First Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This inaugural release is a harmonious blend, matured in a mix of first-fill bourbon and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This unique whisky, limited to a run of 7,000 bottles, celebrates the rich traditions of Scottish whisky-making.
About the distillery
Lochlea Distillery, Region Lowlands was founded in 2014 by Neil McGeoch after he was granted planning permission to convert existing buildings on the 222 acer farm he purchased in 2006 into a distillery. The barley used is grown on the farm & the water source is also within the lands of the farm. Construction of the distillery began in 2017 with the first casks filled in 2018. The Farm itself hosts a unique past with it once being in ownership of the Burns family where Robert Burns himself worked for some years. Neil decided to approach the marketing and broadcasting aspects in a different way, in other words he neither marketed or broadcasted the distillery construction and kept it as silent as possible to allow Lochlea to focus on the produced liquid. The distillery released its first whisky on 25th January 2021 (Burns Night).

Whisky Distillery White Peak

About the distillery
Founded in 2016 by Max & Claire Vaughan who were more than open in stating they had nothing but a dream. The distillery which is Derbyshire’s first whisky distillery located in the region of a past rich industrial heritage of the entrepreneurs who made the area famous. Through financial investors who loved the couples pitch provided critical funding to allow the distillery to be constructed. In February 2022 the distillery released it’s first single malt.

Welsh Distillery Aber Falls was founded in 2017 by James Wright. Aber falls is the first distillery in Wales in over 100 years, James has over 20 years of experience in the alcohol industry. The distillery lay their first casks in 2017 and released its first whisky in 2021.

About the distillery
Raasay Distillery, region Island, located on the Isle of Raasay was founded in 2016 by Alasdair Day & Bill Dobbie. Operations began in 2017 upon successfully receiving its license. This is the first legal distillery to be located on the island with a total population of around 160 and in 2020 it released its Inaugural whisky, with 7500 bottles produced these sold out in a very respectable period and are highly sought after by whisky enthusiasts.

The distillery is looking into producing an electronic QR code system for each bottle produced giving the exact history of your bottle, it's a very unique idea, since starting the distillery has built a strong reputation.

The distillery is only the Second Legal distillery to be placed on the island.
