Originally one of Glenlivet’s travel retail exclusives. The casks used to mature this award-winning 40% malt are chosen by the Master Distiller himself, and include ex sherry casks and American oak casks.

About the distillery

Glenlivet Distillery, region Speyside, located in Moray was founded in 1824 by father/Son George & John Smith. Glenlivet Distillery was the first Scottish distillery to become legalised after the 1823 excise act and it remained within the Smith family until 1978 when Seagrams bought a majority stake in the distillery, however with the dissolving of Seagrams in 2001 Pernod-Ricard acquired ownership of Glenlivet Distillery.
